Review in a Tweet: “Gamez Wireless Headset truly is “One Size Fits All” and packs serious power to boot @Aftershokz”
If you’re like me and have a larger than average head size, it is hard to find a headset that fits comfortably. Throw in any other factor, such as glasses or behind the head, it’s basically impossible. Gamez Wireless Headset by Aftershokz are the mythical headset that really is one size fits all. For most of you non big headers, this has little to no effect on you. However if you’re larger than a size 8 fitted cap, this means the world. I have purchased many behind the ear headphones, wired, and wireless, because I like the style, seem to be the most convenient, and are the most comfortable to my life style. Not since my Aiwa headphones, from my 10 second anti-skip sports discman, have headphones fit so perfectly on me. [Side note, my head has remained pretty much the same size, I have since just grown to match it]. I am also a glasses wearer, and have large ears, which does not help in my search of fitting headphones. I do use earbuds most of the time since it is the easiest solution, but I hate the way they feel. I digress, to sum up comfort: Gamez Wireless Headset are hands downt the most comfortable wireless headphones I have worn.
The Gamez Wireless Headset by Aftershokz, aside from being comfortable without competition, are aesthetically appealing. I personally feel they look to be derived from Master Chief’s armor, due to color scheme and futuristic design. They are light weight, and the controls are easily accessible weather they are being worn or not. The big plus on the design, is the ease of access to the charging port. I have had numerous wireless headsets with unreasonably fussy port covers. I do not get why designed would make accessing the charging port so difficult. Regardless of how long a product’s battery life is, it will need to be charged. Also the button placement and use are very intuitive. You do not have to worry about accidentally powering off the device or adjusting the volume, and device control is very intuitive with the multi-function main button. Design, operation, and comfort alone make the Gamez Wireless Headset superior over most of competition.
On top of its practical, functional, and appealing design, Gamez steps it up by providing some serious sound quality. If you are a fan of feeling the sound, Gamez are a must have. The power Gamez packs in its sound is usually only found in wired gaming headsets. The base and sound quality is on par with high-end Monster and Klipsch headphones (the kind that Best Buy hides in their Magnolia section). Gamez, may not be the best headphones I have ever tried, but they are hands the best wireless headphones I have ever used. They are also far cheaper than most high end sound quality headphones. I believe Gamez’s bone conduction technology has a lot to do with its impact. The speakers do not directly cover or insert into the user’s ears, rather they rest comfortably in front of them. The openness allows for the ears to react naturally to the sound instead being smushed into an ear piece or plugged by an ear plug. Also its placement, along with it’s power, seems to conduct using the tragus, giving the user a very encompassing sound experience.
Aftershokz’s Gamez Wireless Headset is a masterpiece of technology and consumer good. It is a truly great headset that boasts amazing sound quality, unique design, and unequaled comfort. For the MSRP of $99.95, Gamez are not only “the best bang for the buck” they’re practically just the best you can get in wireless headsets. Sound, comfort, and ease of use, Gamez masterfully delivers in every category. Be sure to go to Aftershokz to pick up your set or check out their other products.
