Fanboy Comics Digital Arcs

LOS ANGELES, CA – August 6, 2012 –  Fanboy Comics (FBC) is proud to announce the development of The Arcs, a new digital comic written by Michael D. Poisson to be released in late 2012. The Arcs will feature art by Matt Jacobs (The Boys, Prototype) and lettering by Oceano Ransford (The Molting).
“Poisson brings us an epic story concerning the slow descent of God’s abandoned archangels against the armies of Hell,” says FBC President Bryant Dillon. “His take on the biblically-inspired material is fresh, original, and unforgiving on his characters. Elevated even further by Jacobs’ gritty and grandiose art, readers are sure to be both moved and exhilarated by the tragic battle of the final angels in Heaven.”

A free digital preview of The Arcs will be available through the Fanboy Comics website in advance of the comic book’s full release.

Founded in early 2010 by self-professed “geeks” Bryant and Barbra Dillon and Sam Rhodes, Fanboy Comics seeks to provide an outlet for up-and-coming artists and writers with a desire to create new works and media.  By facilitating in-house collaborations and providing support and empowerment, FBC hopes to enable the production of professional and marketable creator-owned works.

Fanboy Comics’ first graphic novel, Something Animal, is available online at www.fanboycomics.net, as well as through iTunes, Barnes & Noble, and the digital distributor Graphicly.  The publisher’s second graphic novel, Identity Thief, will be released in September 2012.
