Square Enix brought an Alpha version of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided with them to E3 and it was glorious. Mankind Divided takes place a few years after Human Revolution following the same title character, Adam Jensen. A civil war is stirring between the regular humans and the “augments” and it is the player’s job to figure out who is causing the war.
The look of the game is phenomenal, the graphics of every character and the fluidity of the environment is beautifully cinematic. Adam Jensen could easily be a less broad and buff Joe Manganiello. The scope of the environment is massive, and what is even more impressive is that it’s not a railroad track game like most FPS. You can take any direction you want using any method to accomplish your objective.
Mankind Divided also added a few new moves and abilities that themselves can be used in a number of different ways like this launching arm blade that sticks into where you shoot it and explodes after a beat; the arm blade is perfect for getting enemies behind cover.
I personally haven’t played any of the Deus Ex franchise, but as soon as Steam has a sale I will pick up Human Revolution to get caught up. Check out the trailer and be amazed, then get mad you have to wait until 2016 for this game to release.
