We’re just two ordinary people who are extraordinarily enthusiastic about living a healthy lifestyle and enjoying the foods we love, especially DOUGHnuts! With backgrounds in health care, business and social work, we are sincerely passionate about supporting the health and well being of others. Basically, our love for staying active and enjoying sweet treats together resulted in The Dough Bar. Our vision for The Dough Bar is to offer health conscious folks a once devilishly sweet treat in a macro friendly, protein packed, guilt free form! But to be honest, we consider The Dough Bar’s mission to be more meaningful than simply baking DOUGHnuts.
Health, wellness, service and celebration are the pillars of our business. We want to encourage and support the good health of our customers by providing a nutritious alternative to a “cheat treat”. We aim to inspire wellness in our customers’ lives by highlighting the advantages of living an active lifestyle. We give a portion of our monthly sales to nonprofit organizations which serve the community, whether it be fighting childhood obesity or promoting a healthier lifestyle. Finally, we want to display and foster a spirit of sincere celebration among the community of our customers. There are so many inspirational stories we’ve come across in such a short amount of time already – it’s a blessing and we want to share that joy with as many people as possible.
