ANAHEIM, CA – The world premiere of the short film “Black Tiger: Hunter Hunted” is scheduled
for April 19, 2014 at the Gardenwalk UltraLuxe Anaheim, across the street from Wondercon, at
7:00PM, with an encore screening at 8:30PM. Screening attendees will receive a copy of the
film poster and entry into an after‐party that includes refreshments and elbow‐rubbing with
cast and crew in the theater lounge.
There is free standby admission for the film for WonderCon badgeholders, but tickets are
selling quickly. Reserved tickets for the World Premiere and after‐party are only available at
http://blacktiger.brownpapertickets.com.
In the film, Jenn Fong (Angela Fong) as the Black Tiger is working in league with private
detective, Salem Chow, to uncover clues regarding the murder of her father (Robin Shou), the
prior Black Tiger. Appearing on the scene is an unknown. Jenn gets a lead in the death of her
father that will change her personal and superhero lives forever.
Celebrating the 10th anniversary of their first comic book series, “Black Tiger: Legacy of Fury,”
Beyond Time, Inc. has partnered with filmmaker, Patricio Ginelsa of Kid Heroes Productions to
produce “Black Tiger: Hunter Hunted” and will also be present at WonderCon with a special
panel “Black Tiger: From Indie Comic to Indie Short Film” on Friday, April 18 from 4:00‐5:00PM
in Room 207, where all attendees will get a free vintage “Black Tiger” poster with art by Greg
Horn and Rod Pereira. Beyond Time will also have a table, D33, from which they will conduct
signings and raffles.
