Rafael Grampá is a favorite here at Casa de Fanboy, and much has been written about this future comic rock star, as well as the commercial and advertising campaign featuring him and his work for Absolut vodka. Now, the full collaboration between the two has been released into the wild – the short animated film Dark Noir!
A dark and creepy Noir thriller, following a detective who is hired to retrieve a man’s ideas from the woman who stole them, this surreal short is full of surprises, and genuinely fun.
The final co-created animated film by Rafael Grampá and Absolut Facebook fans worldwide for the #NEXTFRAME project. More information about the project and other collaborations from Absolut and the Transform Today campaign can be found on http://www.absolut.com/collaboration.
A combination of computer animation, and the more traditional animation of yesteryear, Dark Noir delivers a slightly suspenseful story, and some amazing visuals. You can watch it in all of its glory here.
Now I just want to know when we can please have more animated work from Mr. Grampá.
